Spring Cleaning With Norwex Week Two:

We decided to start out spring with some “spring cleaning with Norwex” tips and you all seemed to love it! It was a great week of getting the kitchen deep cleaned but now it’s time to move on to other parts of your home. Just like last week, we will be sharing tips and tricks on how to use your Norwex to Spring Clean your home, saving you time and money while still achieving that beautiful deep clean your home deserves.

Tips will be broken down by the day and take anywhere between 5 minutes to 30 minutes to complete. You will find a daily supply list and the estimated time so you can plan out your days. If you don’t already have a Norwex stash, you can find the products needed linked below.

Spring Cleaning with Norwex Week Two-

Week Two Day 1: It’s all About Those Baseboards!

Supplies Needed: Wet Norwex EnviroCloth,Norwex Cleaning Paste (as needed).

Estimated Time: This will depend on the size of your home but should take about 20 minutes.

Time to clean those baseboards! If you have the Norwex Superior mop, you probably use it to do a quick swipe across your baseboards when you clean your floors but every once in awhile they need a good deep clean. All you need is a damp EnviroCloth to get your baseboards shining like new! Need an little extra elbow grease? Use your Cleaning Paste!

Week Two Day 2: Freshen Up Your Doors

Supplies Needed: Wet Norwex EnviroCloth,Norwex Cleaning Paste (as needed).

Estimated Time: 15 Minutes

Did you know your door knobs are probably one of the dirtiest things you touch in your home? It’s time to wipe down those door knobs and doors! Just take your damp Norwex EnviroCloth and wipe down the knobs and the door. For those tough spots, use your Norwex Cleaning Paste to help. If you have painted doors make sure you test on a small area.

Week Two Day 3:  How Dirty Are Your Light Switches?

Supplies Needed: Wet Norwex EnviroCloth

Estimated Time: 10 Minutes

The light switches are another item that seems to be neglected from weekly cleaning. Just use your damp EnviroCloth to get them clean! (Have you noticed a pattern here? You really do use your EnviroCloth for Everything!)

Quick Tip: Your light switches are one of the quicker tasks this week so schedule it for a day where you don’t have a lot of time to do your spring cleaning. You can also add it to another day where you have your EnviroCloth out already to save a little extra time. 

Week Two Day 4: Time To Clean Your Blinds And Curtains

Supplies Needed: Norwex Dusting Mitt, Norwex Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent, Norwex EnviroCloth (if needed) 

Estimated Time: 20 Minutes

Take down any cloth curtains and toss them in the wash with your Norwex UPP detergent (make sure to check care instructions for proper cleaning). Then close your blinds and run your Dusting Mitt over the front and back side. If you have any really dirty areas or stuck on dust from left over cleaning product residue, grab your EnviroCloth for some extra help. 

Week Two Day 5: Cleaning Day For Your Ceiling Fans and Lights

Supplies Needed: Norwex EnviroWand, Norwex Mop Handle (if you have high ceilings) 

Estimated Time: 20 Minutes

How long has it been since you cleaned your lights and fan? Just grab your EnviroWand and bend it fit your fans. If you have really high fans, attach it to your mop for an easy reach. If you have lots of caked on dust, spray a little bit of water on your Norwex EnviroWand then clean the surface. 

Week Two Day 6: When is The Last Time You Cleaned Your Walls?

Supplies Needed: Norwex Superior Mop System

Estimated Time: 25 Minutes

Cleaning Walls and Ceilings is a lost art but your grandmother probably spent many days cleaning the walls of her home by hand with a rag.  The Norwex mop makes cleaning your walls super quick and easy! Just put your dry pad on, extend your mop handle and get to work!
