Kris Carlson - Take the States

Norwex Independent Sales Consultant Silver Senior Vice President Sales Leader

Welcome to my blog, I’m so happy you are here! First things first, I should probably introduce myself… I am an Independent Sales Consultant with Norwex, and I absolutely love my job!  I love that my job allows me to improve lives by creating safe havens, and I love what my job has done for me and my family, so that’s why I’m here sharing it with you.  It all started when my ex-husband lost his job in 2009 and I was faced with some tough decisions.  He was always the breadwinner and I had been a stay-at-home mom to my three kids Zach, Emma, and Isabel.  I needed to figure out how to make some money (and fast!), but to do it in a way that wouldn’t take me away from my first love, being a mom.   Norwex was truly an answer to our prayers.  I had never worked in sales before, but when I went to my first party I was immediately taken by the idea that I could clean my house with just water, I could save money and time doing it, I could reduce chemicals in my home, and I could change lives.  So I gave it a shot, and here I am!  I would say, it’s worked out pretty well so far.

In the beginning, I thought that the biggest impact on me would be the financial freedom and reducing chemicals in homes, but I never realized that the most meaningful takeaway would be something different, and that was the impact that other people would have on MY life.  I have been so humbled, inspired, and changed by the people I’ve met.  I can’t tell you how many times I have come home from a party and shared with my family some amazing story that I just heard, or talked about an inspiring woman that I just met.  Some stories are heart-wrenching and it’s hard to believe what people can endure, and then some are so funny we laugh so hard we can’t breathe!  And some just leave me feeling like there’s no way I’m doing enough in this world, yet they inspire me to try to do more.  No matter what the story, in my heart I walk away from it blown away by the fact that I got to be a part of that person’s life that evening, and I feel so lucky.  Who knew that when I started this journey 5 years ago, that would be one of my greatest gifts!   So I can’t wait to take some time on this blog to share those stories… stories of the amazing, beautiful, strong, enduring women that I have met.

I also hope you’ll find something in this blog that inspires you, for whatever your vision is for yourself, your business, your family, and the people you meet.  There will be a little bit for everyone!  It’s yet another journey that I’m excited to begin…and I really hope you’ll come along for the ride!!
