Spring Cleaning with Norwex Week Four –

Week Four Day 1: Bathroom Cleaning Day!

Supplies Needed: Norwex Descaler, Norwex Bathroom Scrub Mitt, Norwex EnviroCloth, Norwex Window Cloth, Norwex Cleaning Paste, Norwex Sanira System

Estimated Time: 20 Minutes

Deep cleaning bathrooms is one of the most hated chores but I find that using my Norwex makes it a little more bearable! Start by spraying down the tub/shower with your Descaler. Make sure you get the shower head too! While that sits start on the rest of the room. Clean the mirrors with your EnviroCloth and Window Cloth, then clean the sinks and countertops with your EnviroCloth. If needed, use a little of your Descaler around the faucet. Move on to cleaning your toilets with the Sanira System. If you have a ring, try spraying a little bit of Descaler or use your Cleaning Paste to get it off. Next, take your EnviroCloth and clean the top and sides of the toilet. Time to head back to the tub/shower and wipe it all down with the Bathroom Scrub Mitt!

Bonus: If you have a little bit of extra time, grab your mop and clean those floors. Use some diluted UPP in a spray bottle to get that grout looking clean again.

Week Four Day 2: Bathroom Cleaning Day!

Supplies Needed: EnviroCloth, Vinegar

Estimated Time: 15 Minutes

It’s Dishwasher cleaning day! Start by using your EnviroCloth to wipe down the yuck round the door area and anywhere else in the dish washer. Check your care instructions to see if you have a removable screen that needs to be emptied/cleaned and do so if posable. Run the dishwasher on a hot cycle with a cup of vinegar in the top rack to wash away grease and grime and remove musty odors.

Week Four Day 3: When is the last time you cleaned out the pantry?

Supplies Needed: Trash Bag, EnviroCloth or Kitchen Cloth

Estimated Time: 10 – 15 Minutes

It’s time to Norwex that pantry! Start by taking everything out and sorting food into categories. Toss any out of date items. Next, while your shelves are empty, use your EnviroCloth or Kitchen Cloth to wipe off any stains and crumbs. Put everything back in their organized groups!

Bonus- Grab some glass mason jars and organize things like pasta and cereal in them. You food will stay fresh longer and your pantry will look nicer!

Week Four Day 4: Organize and clean inside the kitchen cabinets and drawers!

Supplies Needed: EnviroCloth, Cleaning Paste, 1 tsp of UPP diluted in a spray bottle (you can add a couple drops of essential oils to this if you would like a smell)

Estimated Time: 20 Minutes

Start by removing everything from the cabinet. If you have kitchen supplies you no longer use, consider selling or donating them. Next, take your wet EnviroCloth and wipe out the inside of the cabinets. If you have tough spots, use your Cleaning Paste or diluted UPP to give a little extra scrubbing power. Put everything back in the cabinet and move on to the next one. Doing this task one cabinet at a time will keep the project simple and make it easier to take breaks as needed.

Week Four Day 5: Spring Clean Your Master Bedroom!

Supplies Needed: EnviroCloth, Window Cloth, Dusting Mitt and Norwex Mop

Estimated Time: 30 Minutes

Start by clearing out the clutter! Donate anything that doesn’t have a home, get rid of all the trash and make sure everything has a place. Use your Norwex Dusting Mitt to wipe down surfaces. Then grab your damp EnviroCloth and wipe down shelves, night stands, window sills, knick knacks. Use your EnviroCloth and Window Cloth to clean any windows and mirrors. Last, use your mop to clean the walls and floors. Make sure to get deep under the bed! There is nothing better than a nice clean master bedroom!

Week Four Day 6: Time To Organize Your Cleaning Supplies!

Supplies Needed: All of your cleaning supplies

Estimated Time: 10 Minutes

Today is the last day of our Spring Cleaning Challenge! I hope you have some new ideas on different ways to use your Norwex and a slightly cleaner home. Start by ditching the cleaners you are no longer using (be sure to find out what your city’s regulations are about chemical waste) and sort the rest! Grouping clothes into types and storing them in the room they are used in will save on time when you need them later.

Bonus: Grab the Norwex Washing Net and hang it on the back of your laundry room door. This will help keep all your Norwex cloths together and easy to find when they need to be washed.
