About this time every year, I start to crave my mom’s homemade pecan pie. It was my favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving and I wanted to share it with you. I can’t wait to make it with my girls next week! Enjoy!!
1 C. pecans, cut up. Place in an unbaked pie shell.
4 eggs, beaten
1 C. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
Beat the above 3 ingredients, then add:
1 tsp. vanilla
1 T. butter, melted
1 C. Red Label Karo
Bake in hot oven (450) 10 to 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and bake for one hour.
