Our April 2016 Team Aqua MVP is Linda Rowan. Linda recently promoted to ESL!
We asked Linda a few questions to get to know her a little better.
What is your “why” for being a Norwex consultant? My Why started out just to make extra money to pay for 2 upcoming trips. It has continued, not only to make extra money, but mostly because of the relationships I have made with fellow consultants and customers, while feeling good about sharing the Norwex mission.
What are three words that your family would use to describe you? My daughters say “caring, creative, ambitious” and my husband says “never gives up”.
What is your best tip for a brand new consultant? Book 6 parties in the first 45 days and don’t feel like you need to know everything before you start. Your passion for Norwex will show through and you will be successful.
What is your funniest/most embarrassing party story? I stepped away to reach for a product, my foot got caught in the handle of my Thirty-One tote on the floor and I fell over sideways in what felt like slow motion. (BUT…I got 3 bookings- they probably felt sorry for me😊).
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not Norwexing? Spending time with family and friends; gardening, reading, sewing, camping
What has your recent promotion meant for you and your business and what advice do you have for others on promotion? I feel promoting to ESL means I will have more access to training and info from corporate that I can share with my team. Believing that a promotion will happen is the first step. I bought a compass which reminds me I am going in the right direction. Sometimes the needle wavers a bit but it always goes back to pointing in the right direction.
